Joseph Brodsky | 'Drima Zede' Hot Anaerobic Mixed Heirloom
Drima Zede was our very first Panamanian coffee at Bredda, and due to it's overwhelming popularity we have brought it back!
The story of Ninety Plus began in Ethiopia, coffee's original homeland, where it's very first coffees were produced by the hands of Joseph Brodsky, amazing judges in world competitions through both its complexity and clarity, creating a wave of change within the industry. The Ninety Plus unique ‘natural process’ coffees were shared with coffee growers and producers in Volcan, Panama beginning in 2007; this initiated an overhaul of speciality coffee processing practices throughout all the world.
Inspired by the thousands of heirloom Ethiopian coffee varieties growing wild in forests within their natural state, Ninety Plus began developing coffee farms in Panama's ideal coffee lands in 2009, restoring both its forests and increasing biodiversity in the process.
Initially developed in 2013, Drima Zede was created in an aim to improve common coffee varietals through deeper fermentation. In their latest harvest they processed the Mixed Heirloom varietal creating a rich and intense cup, with flavours of red apple, dark chocolate liqueur and cloves.
