We have been lucky enough to roast Felipe's Washed Geisha twice, and we're now very excited for you to taste it as an Anaerobic Natural!
Felipe's father Gildardo Contreras grew up playing in a backyard full of coffee trees and always aspired to be a farmer himself. He bought Finca Gascon from a relative in 2012, and found that the rich volcanic soil in the high mountains of Antigua were perfect conditions for growing coffee. The farm now 54 hectares, with a wet mill on site is now run by Felipe who continues to focus on innovative processing and introducing new varietals.
Implementing this whole-cherry Anaerobic processing, allows this coffee to shines with its floral aromatics combined with peach and red berry sweetness.
