Known for producing the finest coffee beans ever grown on earth, we are very excited to share with you another gem of a coffee from the Holguin Family from Inmaculada Coffee Farms. This particular lot 393, of the Laurina varietal is one of the only a handful of very small lots of this coffee grown in the world, and we are very privileged to be sharing it with you!
Laurina originates from the Reunion Island off the coast of Madagascar, Laurina is sometimes referred to as 'Bourbon Pointu', named for the way the beans for themselves taper to a point. The Laurina varietal is still a very sensitive plant as its yield remains low making it quite rare. This lot also contains a lower percentage of caffeine of 0.4-0.6% compared to other arabica varietals that typically contain 1.2-1.6%.
Expect one of the sweetest coffees you've ever had from its apricot and jasmine floral like aroma with a sugary Pina Colada like tropicality to it. In other words, it's unique, so get on it fast!
