Karana Global is a collaboration between Rodney Glick (Australian) and Edi Kadek (Indonesian) two like minded coffee professionals with a wealth of knowledge in the specialty coffee industry. Using their experience in Q grading, coffee chain supply, roasting and making coffee they focus on producing and processing excellent Balinese coffee.
Located in the center of Ubud, an hours drive from the coffee plantations of Kintamani and Tabanan, they are the only processors in Bali that control quality at each stage from the farm to the finished product. Training and employing locals to contribute on projects focused on community education and environmental conservation.
From Karana we have chosen this S795 and Kartika varietals, processed using Natural Carbonic Maceration technique which has brought out a lot of fruit forward qualities within the coffee such as red apple, orange marmalade and cranberry.
