Andre Hamboer, founder of Tuang Coffee has dedicated his work to building a more sustainable coffee chain to empower farmers. Partnering with local farmers in the Manggarai region, Flores Island Indonesia, they are able to provide processing infrastructure to improve quality and cut costs for farmers.
Andre works to change the thought processes of the farmers who see coffee as a commodity, and give them the tools they need to unleash the best from their coffee, and providing fair prices to enter the specialty market.
Through constant evolving and innovation year to year, Andre and his team have developed this Slow Dry Anaerobic lot in an aim to push the boundaries of Indonesian specialty coffee, and was most recently featured in the World Barista Championships. We can't wait for you to taste this fruit punch!
